The National Forum’s 13th Annual Meeting focused on advancing the ABCS (appropriate Aspirin use, Blood pressure control, Cholesterol management, and Smoking cessation) of heart disease and stroke prevention. Presenters focused on how organizations mobilized the strengths of their partners to develop and implement heart disease and stroke prevention initiatives that work. Presenters also outlined the steps they took to improve the heart health of patients and their communities.
The National Forum’s 13th Annual Meeting brought together representatives from more than 70 organizations, including individuals from national and international organizations, government, industry, research and healthcare institutions, advocacy, faith-based, and community-based organizations. The meeting inspired, challenged, and motivated all of us to take action to prevent heart disease and stroke so that they will no longer be the no. 1 killer of Americans by 2020.
