The National Forum 16th Annual Meeting, “Paths to Innovation,”will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at the Barbara Jordan Conference Center, Kaiser Family Foundation, 1330 G ST, NW, Washington, DC 20005, from 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM EDT.



The National Forum Annual Meeting “is important because this is a group of thought leaders;  people around the country who are really engaged in trying to prevent heart attack and stroke through their various organizations’ activities. Paths to Innovation

The goals for the 2018 Annual Meeting, “Paths to Innovation” are:

  • CONNECT: Attendees will meet at least one new organization/individual.
  • PROVIDE AND STIMULATE THOUGHT LEADERSHIP:  Attendees will learn at least one new strategy to reduce heart disease and stroke in the population.
  • ACCELERATE COLLABORATION:  Attendees will establish at least one collaboration with an attendee member to implement a policy or best practice.

Each year at our Annual Meeting, the National Forum for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention recognizes individuals and organizations that have helped advance heart disease and stroke prevention above and beyond the norm. We invite you to submit nominations for the National Forum Awards, which will be presented at the 16th Annual Meeting of the National Forum for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention in Washington, DC, on October 24, 2018.  Nomination deadline: August 30, 2018
