Access to Innovation Forum Briefing: Federal Policy Changes’ Impact on the Insurance Market

Moderated by: John Clymer, Executive Director, National Forum for Heart Disease & Stroke Prevention, with time dedicated to audience Q&A.

 

We will be discussing how recent federal policy changes, including the repeal of the individual mandate, the Executive Order on association health plans, the recent rule on short-term limited duration plans, and this year’s Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters will impact patients’ access to quality coverage and care.

Access to Innovation Forum Steering Committee

 

 

The Access to Innovation Forum (Forum) is a periodic roundtable and briefing series designed to foster dialogue and facilitate partnership around pressing issues facing the patient advocacy community and the biotechnology industry. The Forum provides an informal venue for stakeholders to share information, discuss timely public policy issues, and identify opportunities for collaboration to advance patient access to innovative medicines.

 

By regularly convening a diverse group of stakeholders, the goal of the Forum is to create a platform for peers in the patient advocacy community to share best practices and identify potential areas of partnership and synergies across different disease communities.

 

To inform and guide the effort, a Steering Committee was established to drive the programming for the briefings and roundtables. The Steering Committee Members are:
