Million Hearts – Climate Change and Cardiovascular Disease Collaborative – March Webinar

The Climate Change & Cardiovascular Disease Collaborative (CCC), in partnership with the HHS Office on Climate Change and Health Equity, the CDC National Center for Environmental Health, and the Environmental Protection Agency, is a national forum for healthcare, public health, and environmental organizations and staff to:

  • Expand their knowledge about the threats that climate change and air pollution present to cardiovascular health
  • Convene and collaborate with other healthcare and public health champions to address those threats for high-risk populations

Register for the March 9, 2023 webinar at 12 p.m. ET, that will

  • Cover clinical interventions that can mitigate the effects of extreme heat on patients with cardiovascular disease
  • Discuss how community infrastructure and policy interventions to prepare for extreme heat can align with cardiovascular disease risk reduction
  • Identify examples of tools and resources that can aid in interventions to mitigate extreme heat exposure
