Million Hearts® – Interventions to Address Particle Pollution and Heart Disease (Part A)

The Climate Change & Cardiovascular Disease Collaborative (CCC), in partnership with the HHS Office on Climate Change and Health Equity, the CDC National Center for Environmental Health, and the Environmental Protection Agency, is a national forum for healthcare, public health, and environmental organizations and staff to:

• Expand their knowledge about the threats that climate change and air pollution present to cardiovascular health

• Convene and collaborate with other healthcare and public health champions to address those threats for high-risk populations

• Discuss how particle pollution influences cardiovascular disease risk

• Identify clinical interventions and resources to improve the management of high-risk populations

 

This session will explore how particle pollution influences cardiovascular disease risk and identify examples of clinical interventions and resources that can improve the management of populations at highest risk.
