Hypertension Takedown™

Hypertension remains the leading modifiable cause of death worldwide. And that means the work each of you is doing—every day—matters deeply. Hypertension Takedown™ is more than a theme—it is the National Forum’s framework for action. It aligns our programs, strengthens partnerships, and mobilizes collective efforts to accelerate progress nationwide. And at the center of that effort is a simple, powerful goal we can all champion: 130 over 80. This argument gives us clarity—and a unifying call to action across clinics, communities, and systems. It reflects what we know to be true: real progress happens when we move together—with purpose, urgency, and shared accountability.
