Members of the National Forum for Heart Disease & Stroke Prevention’s Value & Access Collaborative submitted joint comments on ICER’s draft evidence report evaluating baxdrostat and lorundrostat for hypertension.
The collaborative called on ICER to revise the report to better reflect:
- Patient perspectives
- Contemporary real-world evidence and realistic treatment use
- Fair access considerations
The Collaborative also recommended that ICER avoid conclusions that may inadvertently create access barriers and urged ICER to avoid using projected budget impact to determine recommended price ranges.
