15th Annual Meeting: Paths to Engagement - October 18, 2017

Paths to Engagement examined the current state cardiovascular health in the U.S. and how we can successfully advocate for prevention and population health in the current environment. This year’s annual meeting featured a new format with fewer PowerPoint slides and more dialogue with thought and practice leaders.

The National Forum Annual Meeting “is important because this is a group of thought leaders; people around the country who are really engaged in trying to prevent heart attack and stroke through their various organizations’ activities. Each year, the National Forum recognizes people and groups that have helped advance heart disease and stroke prevention above and beyond the norm. The dedication, commitment, and perseverance shown by this year’s awardees is truly inspiring. The work that these people and organizations have done has saved lives; and they have all advanced the recommendations within the Public Health Action Plan to Prevent Heart Disease and Stroke.
